Rhys Trenhaile, BSC., JD. Broker

Rhys has been selling real estate since 2002, soon after he graduated from the University of Windsor Law School. The lessons he learned there about agent-client relationship and the negotiation of contracts allowed him to soar in the Real Estate Industry. His own father admitted "it would have been a waste of talent if you weren't out shaking hands." As the demand for Rhys' services outstripped the hours in a day, he began to build a real estate team, basically out of necessity. What he didn't realize is what a competitive advantage it would be service wise to the clients. In his spare time, Rhys acts in some television shows and films, probably the most prominent being a recurring role on Designated Survivor starring Kiefer Sutherland. In a previous life -- 42 pounds ago -- Rhys was a national class 1500m runner.

 Reed began studying real estate right out of business school. Reed joined The Vanguard Team in 2016 and is one of the team's residential real estate specialists. He also serves as the team's Operations Manager, creating and fine-tuning the team's systems, always looking for ways to better serve our clients. Reed is a Million Dollar producing Realtor and has been named to the Manor Realty Top Producer list many times over during his career. Reed truly enjoys working closely with his clients, and solving any issues that they may have along the way has become a passion.

With over two decades of experience Greg has seen or been a part of every deal imaginable which has enabled him to help his clients in every situation imaginable. He focuses on multi-family homes of more than 6 units and multi-unit buildings that consist of commercial tenants. Greg has been known to be quite the steady hand during the often tumultuous efforts that are required in his niche of work. Greg also has experience in investment and development not only to the sales side of a transaction, but also about being a landlord. 

He can provide you all necessary tradesmen, handymen, property managers, leasing agents, how and where to advertise, which will greatly increase your chances of success; some of these people have been referred to for over 10 years. Most importantly, Greg understands the goal; to build you up as an investor, not to sell any old piece of junk (of which there are many out there). Greg has been recognized as one of the best in the area when it comes to multi-family properties

Stephanie Saunders, Sales Representative

Stephanie Saunders joined the Vanguard  Team in February 2018 after moving to Ontario from Alberta. Stephanie started off as Marketing Manager while obtaining her Real Estate Sales Representative License. Now that Stephanie has successfully received her license, she is looking forward to working with the people of Windsor-Essex to help get them into the homes of their dreams.

Steve joined the team to focus on multi-family properties of 6 units or less. He has over 10 years of experience that has helped give him the edge against his competition. He has an arcane amount of knowledge of his real estate niche that puts our clients ahead of the game continuing after the point of sale. He can provide you with all the necessary tradesmen, handymen, property managers, leasing agents, how and where to advertise your properties (for tenants etc.), ensure that the property is maximized to its best potential. Having a huge investment client base outside of Windsor helps his clients with a wider range of possibilities than limiting them to only local investors. There is a skill to this market and he has definitely been recognized as one of the best for it.

Sadi Moro has been apart of The Vanguard Team since 2013. She has developed her real estate skills through working as a receptionist for Manor Realty and working as the Administrative Manager for The

Vanguard Team. During her time at Manor Realty she has won the “Assistant of The Year”, “Monthly Top Producer” and was awarded a “Million-Dollar Producer” for 2017. Sadi specializes in the residential and condominium niche. She has dominated the condo market in downtown Windsor and continues to expand her business throughout Windsor Essex. She has helped many first-time buyers, investors and

renters find a property that works best for them.

A Team Approach


 At The Vanguard Team we focus heavily on internet marketing (including maximized MLS listing) because it is so critical to the success of our clients. Like any company though, it is people that make all the difference. What makes us unique in Windsor is that we are a team of specialists. Each person works only in the area that compliments their natural strengths and skills. Put simply, our people are very good at what they do. When we put the work of all of these people together into a true team approach, the results are outstanding. 


 The Team Leader is responsible for designing the overall strategy for the team, setting team and individual goals, holding team members accountable and coaching each team member. It is his responsibility to ensure the entire team is working as one. 


 The Listing Coordinator is a professional administrator who ensures that each individual listings marketing plan is executed to perfection. She tracks each and every showing and follows up with showing agents to ensure all questions are answered. Finally, she coordinates all pre-closing and closing tasks to help ensure a seamless transaction for our clients 


 The Listing Agents are the Realtors who directly work on behalf of our clients selling real estate. The agents design and implement each individual listings marketing plan, markets our listings directly to other Realtors in the community and provide our clients with expert level negotiation skills. 


 The Marketing Manager is a professional marketer who is responsible for ensuring that all of our listings marketing materials are of a world class quality and delivered on time.
