Designated Survivor Features Local Actor

A local actor is getting his star turn this evening on a popular show that airs on CTV.

Rhys Wyn Trenhaile has been a real estate agent in the area, but a few years ago decided to try acting.

He’s landed a recurring part in the drama Designated Survivor starring Kiefer Sutherland.

Trenhaile says he can only hint at what his role is in the show:

“I can’t talk about the character because you risk revealing the plot line.  I can tell people it’s not a huge role by any stretch but it is significant role and I show up on more than one occasion,” says Trenhaile.

Trenhaile plays Duty Officer Sanders.

He says he’ll pop up in the plot from time to time.
